This shoot took place at the amazing Danby Castle, nestled up in the North Yorkshire Moors. It is a wonderfully remote location with views for miles around. For this shoot, I wanted a venue which mixes the old with the new, which Danby Castle doest fantastically well. The old castle ruins, against the rustic barn interior blends together like a dream.
Kim at Ambience Malton (@ambiencemalton), provided the styling for this shoot. She dressed the Court Room for the Ceremony, and the intimate dining room - in gorgeous greens and whites to match the colour scheme of the shoot. From the candles and table decor, to the elegant chair sashes, the styling on this shoot was just stunning and fit so well with the venue.
The florals were provided by the lovely Leonie of All in Bloom Floristry (@all.inbloomfloristry), who provided florals used in the Court Room, and the dining table which worked perfectly with the general styling for the shoot. Leonie also provided the buttonhole and bouquet which were also gorgeous.
Ellie (@eleanorjayne_makeupartistry) did the hair and make up for the shoot, with a simple romantic style, fitting for the North Yorkshire Moors!
The dresses were provided by Bridal Reloved Ilkley (@bridalrelovedilkley). Bridal Reloved sell high end pre-owned wedding dresses which are either brand new, ex-sample or worn once and cleaned. The suits were provided by Mr Munro Menswear (@mrmunromenswear). The colour of the two suits used fit perfectly with the colour scheme and theme of the shoot.
The stationary was provided by Love Flora (@loveflorastudioco_) The stationary had a timeless, elegant finish which worked perfectly with the shoot. How gorgeous are the vow books??
The finishing touch to the shoot was the lovely Penny (@penelopejayne.co.uk) who was our celebrant - definitely consider having a celebrant for your wedding. She can make the ceremony so personal (and even include shots if that is up your street!)
After this dreamy shoot, I've been lucky have more bookings at Danby Castle and I can't wait to come back!
